Introduction to Mixed Media (Sec 3)

Temasek Secondary School





























Students were taught to use different media like dye, acrylic, Collage and scrap-materials collaboratively in this course. It taps on the nature of each medium and the creative inputs of students in forming their Mixed Media work.

Masquerade Masks (P6)

CHIJ (Toa Payoh) Primary










































Pupils learned pop-out techniques of paper sculpture and mask-making with understanding of Form, Texture and Depth in creating Artwork based on theme of Masquerade Masks. They have referred their creations largely to gatherings, festivities of Carnival, such as those from dynastic events of Renaissance period. Inspirations from other cultures and folk festivals are also brought in for the design of their masks.

Reflection Journey (P6)

Kranji Primary School
































































Pupils were taught Scrapbooking and Paper Sculpture techniques in presenting their reflective journals. Class photos and reflective write-ups were compiled, decorated and composed according to themes such as Garden City, Carnival, Outerspace, Christmas Wishes etc. Finalwork are presented in reflective board and booklet for each class.





















Plasticine Relief Work (P1)

Edgefield Primary School



























In this course, pupils learned to use plasticine in creating relief patterns based on theme of Nature. They were introduced to idea of tile-like patterns and textures in creating interesting composition for their relief work.
